I know this is terrible picture quality but I did not have my camera!
First there is freshly made strawberry sorbet.  To make this you must puree 2 1/2 cups of fresh strawberries in a food processor.  Then put in the fridge to chill for 1 hour.  Secondly, heat in a saucepan 1/4 cup of water and 1/4 cup of granulated sugar until it all dissolves, once this happens boil for one minute.  Remove from heat and place in refrigerator for one hour.  Combine both mixtures, add a dash of lemon juice, and place it all in your ice cream maker and direct as instructed.
Then there is a chocolate chip strawberry shortcake recipe I got from my Bon Appetit dessert cookbook.  It has a white chocolate “mousse” on it which I didn’t let chill long enough so it was more like a sauce but still delicious.
